The name V-CUT 1275 stands for maximum cutting precision and ergonomic handling for cutting panel type wood materials. Cutting lengths up to 5.30 m and cutting heights up to 2.20 m can be sawed easily up to a cutting depth of 75 mm. The panels are placed on the bottom, stainless steel workpiece support in contact with the anodised support matrix, extending over the entire support surface.

Pneumatic deflection of the support matrix during horizontal cutting ensures that it is cannot be cut while sawing the panel. The bottom stainless steel workpiece support is designed for minimum wear and long service life.

Heavy panels with large formats can be transported easily on the supports. This is possible thanks to an elevating roller transport system with manually controlled elevating rollers, which lift the panel allowing it to be moved easily.

A middle workpiece support is installed at an ergonomic height for small workpieces. This consists of thee (optionally five) hinged workpiece supports, which have a safety device to prevent them from being moved back unintentionally. These middle workpiece supports also have end stops to prevent small workpieces from being pushed by the saw blade during horizontal cutting, thus ensuring that they remain securely in place.

Heavy Duty and High Performance – The Sawing Unit
With power of 5.5 kW the sawing unit easily masters all jobs. It moves on two surface-hardened linear guides and can be moved in and out with a horizontal motion also on linear guides. The unit can be pivoted easily from the vertical to the horizontal sawing position with a hand wheel.

The saw blade has a diameter of 303 mm and can be changed very easily using the ProLock quick clamping system. The splitting wedge can also be retracted for light cut-outs. When the saw moves out of the cut, it moves back to its original position ready for the next cut.

A Dust Flow System (DFC System) from the Leitz Company is integrated into the sawing carriage for particularly effective removal of the dust and chips in the sawing unit. The generously dimensioned dust extraction connection with diameter of 120 mm is located directly on the saw housing and the Dust Flow System.

The motor-driven scoring saw can also be switched on on the control when sawing plastic coated panels or veneered materials. With an output of 0.55 kW at 12,000 rpm, it ensures tear-free surfaces for further processing.

The scorer and pressure shoe guide are also equipped with hardened linear guides and guide carriage to ensure high accuracy here as well.

The V-CUT 1275 sawing unit can be closed with a door, whose acoustic insulation significantly reduces noise emissions. Standard use of a low noise saw blade also provides for noise reduction.

The sawing unit on the new vertical panel saw from HOLZ-HER is control with two levers. The top and bottom plunge levers control when the saw moves into the cutting position. The bottom plunge lever can be moved out of the way, allowing control in the uppermost sawing position. The interval between the floor and plunge lever is 1,820 mm. This ensures that the blade can be moved in easily in the uppermost position.

The bottom plunge lever has an integrated contact roller to automatically move it out of the way when cutting through the vertical cutting position. As an optional feature the saw is also equipped with a pneumatic plunge in/out function for even easier control.

The high performance sawing unit runs on two surface-hardened linear guides on the aluminium sawing beam, which itself runs on hardened half-round guides on the base frame. Three manual dimension indicators are attached for simple adjustment of the cutting dimensions. It is possible to select between an absolute dimension from the bottom workpiece support to the middle workpiece support or a relative dimensions from the upper cutting line in consideration of the saw blade thickness.

The beam is arrested pneumatically in the top and bottom area from the control panel ensuring maximum angularity at the cutting line.

Clearly Structured – The Control
The control panel is clearly arranged and ergonomically located in easy reach on the moving sawing beam. Control is accomplished at eye height. The well designed control panel contains the control switches for starting/stopping the sawing unit, pneumatically arresting the sawing beam, and starting and stopping the scorer as well as an error indication feature. Errors are indicated by the buttons flashing.

Optional features such as a digital dimension display for the horizontal cut and motor-driven precision adjustment of the sawing unit are also located here. A handle on the control panel for moving the sawing beam facilitates handling of the machine.
