The designation V-CUT 1280 for maximum cutting precision and ergonomic handling when cutting panel-type wood materials. Cutting lengths up to 5,30 m and cutting heights up to 2,20 m can be handled easily with cutting depths up to 75 mm.

Distinguished with the red dot award: product design 2009; the V-CUT 1280 is the consistant advancement of the highly successful V-CUT 1275, however with automatic process features. Here particular value was places on state-of-the-art controls combined with automatic processes, which significantly facilitate practical work. The machine is distinguished by its programme features, allowing it to manage large cutting quantities in minimum time. The machine process mode can be started by simply pressing a button after positioning the panel on the machine. All motion sequences are controlled by a central, state-of-the-art motor.

The automatic functions are supported by the control, after activation on the touch screen. Fully automatic positioning of the sawing unit for horizontal cutting is a standard feature. Here it is only necessary to enter the nominal dimension on the touch screen and the saw automatically moves to the desired cutting height. The same applies for recognition of the vertical cutting line.. In this case it is only necessary to enter the next desired cutting line on the touch screen and positioning is also accomplished automatically.

Naturally the modules plunge, saw and retract automatically in the automatic mode and it is even possible to return to the starting position with the return motion of the sawing beam.

The easy-to-read 5.7“ touch screen allows simple entry of all data. A clearly structure graphic surface ensures intuitive operation. The comprehensive features can be called quickly and entered as nominal dimensions on the touch screen. (Fig.) Here infinite entry of the saw feed rate from 6 to 25 m/min is possible. It is also possible to enter the nominal values for the saw blade rpm and speed of the prescoring blade. A calculator function is available for quick calculation of the cutting dimensions and automatic transfer to the nominal settings for the automatic functions.

Ten memory locations for the horizontal cut are available for simple entry of continuously repeating cutting dimensions. Register selection completes the control for the V-CUT 1280 with capture of the operating data for the saw settings.
The completely welded and self-supporting machine base frame guarantees maximum rigidity and ensures superior precision and angularity for cutting. The panel materials are positioned on a stainless steel bottom work support and lie on an anodised support grid, extending continuously over the entire support surface.

Heavy panels with large formats can be transported easily on the supports. An elevating roller transport system with manually operated elevating rollers for lifting the panels slightly ensures that the panels can be moved easily.
A centre workpiece for small workpieces is located at an ergonomic height.


High Performance and Endurance – The Sawing Unit

With 5.5 kW of power the sawing unit easily masters all required jobs. The unit can easily be swivelled from the vertical to the horizontal sawing position with a hand wheel.

The Dust Flow System (DFC System) from the Leitz Company, which provides for particularly effective evacuation of the sawdust in the sawing unit, is integrated into the sawing carriage.
The generously dimensioned exhaust connection with diameter of 120 mm is attached directly to the saw housing and integrated into the Dust Flow System.

When cutting plastic coated panels or veneered materials, the motor driven pre-scoring unit can also be connected to the control. With its 0.55 kW at 12,000 rpm it prevents tears in the surface during further processing.

The V-CUT 1275 sawing unit has an acoustically insulated door which reduces the noise emissions considerably when closed. Use a of low-noise saw blade as a standard feature also contributes to reduction of the noise.
