Pressure beam saws make manufacturing easier whenever materials in panel form need to be processed. As they also have to withstand extreme loads and cope with large volume capacities, all components are especially solid. The control software includes a Windows-based user interface so it is simple and easy to operate for the final user.

Accurate and effective processing

Uniform precision is ensured for example by two surface-hardened guides on the sawing unit. They are located directly underneath the cutting line and result in absolutely smooth running and vibration-free cutting. It is possible to cut individual panels or entire panel stacks, up to a thickness of 110 mm with the pressure beam saw CUT 110.
A fast cutting sequence when processing individual panels boosts productivity. The pressure beam does not open fully but is just raised a few millimetres so the panel can be positioned via the slider. This means incorrect cutting and post-machining become a thing of the past as the workpiece is permanently pressed against the stop by the rollers of the side pressure unit.

Simple control and intelligent software

With the optimisation software OPTIPRO the user-friendly CUTCONTROL control system directly at the machine ensures precise and economical panel cutting, for direct cutting, NC cutting, angled cutting or serial cutting. All functions can be called up from one level. A clearly arranged control panel above the stop guide, optionally with a Touch-Screen function, make data input easier. Operation of the machine, materials handling and job management are therefore really simple. With the appropriate software settings the machine functions can be individually adapted to the requirements of each user. A wide range of preselection options such as label printing, reorder prompting with a shortfall in minimum quantity or automatic maintenance indicator optimise the production process and reduce downtimes.

Loading aids and connection to storage systems

For the simple loading of pressure beam saws a loading aid on the pressure beam tower is optionally available. The patent pending swivel arm with fitted crane suspension including integrated vacuum pads helps the operator feed individual panels to the machine tables. For fully automatic loading of the pressure beam saw it can be connected to storage systems, allowing the pressure beam saw to be supplied from area or rack storage systems.

Well thought-out equipment, time-saving accessories

Both the CUT 85 and the CUT 110 are equipped with an angled cut unit, making precise cutting simple here as well. Once the actual measurements have been input in the control system, the angle and depth dimensions are calculated automatically. The panel is also brought into the right position automatically with a rotating angled holder. The saw cut can then be made. If high quantities need to be handled, the optional lifting platform ensures an efficient work process. The panel stacks are taken over from the feed at the rear and then dispatched to the front of the machine for cutting.
